Mr.A.Lewis has been in the employment of the Council as Assistant Superintendent of their Fire Brigade for the past four and a half years during which period he has discharged his duties most satisfactorily， displaying a thorough knowledge of all duties connected therewith， a good disciplinarian， being himself a man of sober and steady habits.
He has also acted as Horse Ambulance Instructor and his knowledge of First Aid has been found useful.
In addition to his other duties he Superintended Disinfecting Work and the keeping in order of Fire Alarms and Electric Bells.
He has left the Council's employment at his own request.
