Sir，
We herewith take the liberty of congratulating you as President of the New Republic in China.Our sincerest wish for every prosperity & good success for your goodself & for your country.
No doubt you are aware， that our country viz.Switzerland as the oldest Republic that exists in the world.
Our forefathers had during the several Centuries many a fight to stand， but they always were able to maintain the “Helvetia” Republic with glory， we heartedly wish you & your country the same good prosperity.
The eyes of the whole world is now turned to your fatherland， anxious looking forward to the news from your part.
From the heading from this letter you will kindly note that the headquarters of this International Club， we herewith venture to ask you if you would do us the favor of accepting our invitation of being our Honorary Member free of charge.May we however take the liberty of waking you to be kind enough & send us your photo with your signature which please accept our best thanks beforehand.
