Dear Sir，
Once in London， afterwards in Japan and now in Shanghai， God in His Providence has brought us together.Though our methods have been different， our aim has been one—the salvation of China.
I congratulate you on the honour your country has shown you by your election as President.
This enables you to begin the work of reconstruction.May it veritably be the Kingdom of God on earth full of the highest elements known to man， which shall serve as a model of pure and righteous government for all the world and a nucleus for the federation of all nations.
