Dear Doctor，
This will serve to introduce Major Toyer of the British Army， & now on the reserve of officers.A friend of mine of many years standing， his regiments the Ed “Fighting Fifth” was in Singapore & Penang some years ago， & is well known & respected here.He is visiting China， & have asked how to call upon you & convey my respects to you.
I congratulate you most sincerely on you great achievement after all these years of fighting almost strict harded—you will not require any more police protector should you visit the Strait again， Dr.Lim Boon Keng left for China yesterday.
