40 Reward Ave，Parkdale，10th January， 1912
Memorandum of an agreement entered into this day between Robert B.Noble of the City of Toronto Ontario Canada of above address， on the one part， and the Republic of China upon the other part.
Witnesseth—that the Republic of China thereby agrees to pay the above Mr.Noble three percent upon all the money they get directly or indirectly through and from the use of his information for a period of twenty years from this date—to be paid the same year the money issued—no second interesting on the same money.
Should the Republic of China decline to use this information after getting it.There is no obligation upon them except absolute secrecy therefore， as it is worth millions of money to Mr.Noble aforesaid.

We the Republic of China agree to ask for the above information upon above terms， and also agree to pay same faithfully to Mr.Noble aforesaid if we use it.In confirmation of this agreement day of witness our hands and seals.

Accept and hereby confirm the agreement made upon the other side of this paper with Mr.Noble therein， and pay him the sum of one thousand pounds Stg.on account there of， as a pledge to act his part therein at once.
And both parties to within agreement hereby mutually pledge themselves， their whole several abilities， and loyal cooperation to bring same to an immediate and successful issue， as is certain when so undertaken!

本协议备忘录于本日签订，一方为加拿大安大略省多伦多市上述地址的罗伯特·诺布尔先生，另一方为中华民国。
有鉴于此——中华民国同意向诺布尔先生支付直接或间接地从使用他所提供的信息中获得收入的3%，自即日起，为期20年。将与发行的钱同年支付，但同一笔钱不能支付两次利息。
如果中华民国在得到信息后谢绝使用，他们没有义务必须使用，但必须绝对保密，因为这些信息对诺布尔先生而言价值数百万美元。
