Shanghai， Jan.15th
Your Excellency Dr.Sun Yat-sen，President Republic of China.
I am enclosing a piece of the magazine I have the honor to represent order leaving for San Francisco or Jan.22nd or the “Shingo Hau”.
If possible I would like a few moments that with your if taking a few moments is possible， you will notice we have started with an article or paper to be followed by others every issue， also starting this month a section to be devoted to the Philippine Islands， where cooperated with the government officials.It is our intention to start a section regularly of China in March issue.So you will receive our publication will prove of a great benefit to the Orient.
All the more so as it published at San Francisco， a city you know well， If you are still at Nanking this week and toward me， I would try and arrange to come up but should it be possible to see you in Shanghai it would suit me better as I have a great number of things to do.
Possibly it would be well that I meet some official of the republic at Shanghai.If so， please designate the gentleman and inclose a note to him.I am not soliciting advertising.
