My Dear Mr.President，
Your many friends have been watching very carefully your personal interests in Europe and America.
Soon after you left here the Peking correspondents sent out so much hurtful nonsense against you and your party that I organized a press agency in London and Washington in your behalf and we had the satisfaction of having the actual facts printed.Soon all of the papers stopped the nonsense and commenced to write editorials in your behalf.It completely upset the New York Herald and the English papers in upholding the Manchus.We have to thank my good friend Francis John Dyer， the able correspondent at Washington， who sends out weekly letters to over 2,000 newspapers.He also telegraphs daily to the newspapers in Western part of United States.
Mr.Dyer is a Commissioner of the Panama California Exposition.His address is “rooms 405 Southern Building， Washington， D.C.，U.S.A.” If it would be consistent with your views， can you not write or have your Secretary write a note of thanks to Mr.Dyer for his very able and daily assistance rendered to you and to your party by his telegrams to the Press.
I will remain in Paris for some time.I hope that you will find something for me to be of service to you.You know full well that I can handle with diplomatic skill any delicate subject and will be only too happy to serve you in any manner.
