Heartiest greetings on the phenominal success of your plans and arms!
The Undersigned， a citizen of the United States and an Instructor in the College of Agriculture and Mechanic Arts of the State of North Carolina， wishes to have an opportunity to demonstrate his system of increasing the average yield of tillable soil five to twenty times.
The plan is most profitable in a well settled country like China and Undersigned is willing to come there if he will be fully protected his rights as an Inventor and if he will receive some inducement by the government.
In view of the facts that agriculture is in very high esteem in China， that there are over four hundred people to be fed therein， that the success of the republic will probably increase your population outside accretion， that the republic wishes to open up an era of progress and prosperity in China and that a proposition to greatly multiply the tillable soil in your country deserves of careful consideration at your hands， the Undersigned hopes to come to an understanding with your governing body， whereby he will be able to make the demonstration and not lose thereby.
Undersigned has sojourned in the Philippines about three years and has visited Shanghai and Hongkong.

这一系统在中国这样一个稳定国家最有利可图，如果作为一个发明者的权益获得充分保障，并得到政府的鼓励，我愿意去中国。
鉴于中国非常重视农业，中国有四万万人口需要养活，共和国的成功很可能会增加贵国的人口。共和政体有望在中国开创一个进步和繁荣的时代，一个使贵国耕地大量增加的提议值得您认真考虑，我希望与您的管理机构达成一项共识，让我能够进行演示，而不会因此而失败。
