My dear sir，
Your time must be so occupied that it is impossible to deal with private correspondence.I need surely say how delighted every one here is with the advance you have made.We are continually being asked for news of you.It would do a great deal of good， will you to send me news for publication either by wire or by letter.I could make good use of it further the cause effectually.From time to time， when you want some point made public or some wrong compression corrected point send it me & I will see that it is put in channels which will do good.When we have time I will tell you many comic episodes.I have had applications from tailors who want to go out & want introductions to you & wish to make your clothes as an advertisement.Soldiers who wish to go out & fight for you.Cinematograph men who wish to go out with their news.Type-writers (girls）who want to be your private secretary.Another wants the work to make the new Bank notes for the China republic & so on.Sailor (retired naval man）who wish to go out & take command of your fleet etc.etc.Col.Mande says he has got together what he consider the pick of the army to go out with him.Daily have I enquired by telephone & newspaper corresponds if I have any news.Your launching in states in Shanghai has appeared as a picture in the paper.Everyone here is in supporting with you.& Max Peculoston—a novelist says no such romance as yours has ever been known in truth & fictions.Mrs.Canttlie joins with me as all good wishes for the future of the Republic & its gloures President.
