Sir，

I have the honor to acknowledge receipt of the President's excellent photograph.

I beg the President to accept the most respectful thanks of the“Italian Benevolent Society” (La Societa Tegli Italiani in Cina）for his kindness in these enabling us to obtain a living for one of our poorer Italians.

With best wishes for the happiness of your new government in the formation of which the President has had so great a part.
