Dear Dr.Sun:

We are getting our International Reform Bureau well started here in Shanghai. Our aim is for the welfare of the Republic of China.Mr.Tang Shaoyi, Dr.Wu Tingfang and other prominent men here are among our supporters. You have expressed kind interest and sympathy in our work, which is trying to help free our beloved land from some of the evil habit that poison the people.May we consider you as one of our patrons? I send you a copy of our organization.

I am sorry I did not see your secretary Mr.Ma Soo when he called last week. There are many things I would like to talk about.I trust the north may soon become quiet again.I trust that God above will preserve our nation, and lead it to strength, liberty and happiness.

With sincere regards.
