"Zhongshan Tripod" is located on the central point of the intersection line of the Former Residence of Dr. Sun Yat-sen and Dr. Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall. Its caliber of 1866 mm, height of 1925 mm, inscriptions of 590 mm and base width of 1912 mm represent the time when Dr. Sun Yat-sen was born and passed away, his years of age and the years when the imperial system was overthrown and the Republic of China was founded.
