This is the former residence of anti-Japanese martyrs Yang Rishao and Yang Rizhang, where “Revolutionary Mother” Tan Xing also lived here for a long time.
Yang Rishao(1918~1942), from Cuiheng Village, served as a squadron leader of the Wugui Mountain Anti-Japanese Guerrilla Detachment, adjutant and deputy leader of the Liang Boxiong Brigade, and leader of the first squadron of the detachment led by the CPC Nanhai-Panyu-Shunde County Committee during the Anti-Japanese War. In May 1942, he died in an assaulton Fuxu. Yang Rizhang (1919~1944), younger brother of Yang Rishao, once served as leader of the first squadron of the detachment led by the Stronghold of the Nanhai-Panyu-Zhongshan-Shundeguerrilla area, and fought with Japanese and puppet troops many times. On April 15, 1944, Yang Rizhang died in a fierce battle when attacking thecamp of the 15thsquadron of the puppet sand guarding brigade in Zhangxi.
