The Suns' graveyard in Zhugaolong is located 0.7 kilometer northwest of Cuiheng Village, Nanlang Town, and southwest of the Litoujian Mountain. Some ancestors of Generations 14-16 of the Suns were formerly buried here, and the Suns relocated their linear ancestors’ tombs from Chongkou here in Month 7 of Year 6 of Qing Emperor Guangxu’s reign (August 1880) to form the graveyard. There are seven ancestral tombs here, and Sun Lizan of Generation 5, Sun Lenan of Generation 6, Sun Gengyin of Generation 7, Sun Huaitang of Generation 8 and Sun Dianchao of Generation 14 are linear ancestors of Sun Yat-sen. The arrangement of the graveyard is of great reference value for understanding the pedigree of the Suns. All tombs are intact. Since the early 1980s, the Suns’ graveyard has been managed by us.
In 2004, the graveyard was listed as an immovable cultural relic of Zhongshan City.
