Lu Haodong's former residence

Lu Haodong's former residence is located in Cuiheng Village, Nanlang Town, built in the late Qing dynasty, facing east, with a floor area of 446 square meters and a building area of 215 square meters, being a typical masonry timber building with three bays and two corridors, in a simple architectural style. There is color painting decoration below the eaves, and a wood couplet on the gate. The Lu Haodong Memorial Exhibition is present here. There is a courtyard in the front, where Guangdong flowers and trees are planted. Martyr Lu Haodong (1867~1895), renowned as the first person sacrificed for the republican revolution in China's history by Dr. Sun Yat-sen, lived here in his youth.

In June 1989, Lu Haodong's former residence was listed as a key protected cultural relic of Guangdong Province.
