Sun Dacheng’s tomb is located on the hillside of the Litoujian Mountain in Cuiheng Village, facing southeast, built in year 15 of the Republican China period (1926). Sun Dacheng’s tomb was a traditional round-chair tomb, made from granite slabs, with two stone lions in the front. The tombstone is 60cm high and 35cm wide, inscribed with “Sun Dacheng’s tomb, built on an auspicious day in Year 15 of the Republican China period”. The top part is inscribed with flowing clouds surrounding the sun, three words – happiness, prosperity and longevity, and a couplet on both sides. Sun Dacheng (1813~1888) was Dr. Sun Yat-sen’s father.
In May 2010, Sun Dacheng’s tomb was listed as a key protected cultural relic of Guangdong Province.
