To protect the Former Residence of Dr. Sun Yat-sen and its relic environment, the nearby residences were used to restore and imitate some civil residences at the end of the Qing Dynasty. The structures reproduce the living conditions of the families at various social strata in Cuiheng Village in those years. They enable people to have a deeper understanding of the historical environment of the great man in the early period of his growth, and let the visitors to experience part of the folkways in the Pearl River Delta.
