World Warning Bell
The World Warning Bell has a diameter of 12m, a height of 2m and a weight of 15 tons. The front is engraved with Dr. Sun Yat-sen's handwriting"共进大同" (meaning "common progress and great harmony"), and the back is his speech"Encourage the Nationals"given in 1924.The bell aims to not only commemorate the efforts made by Dr. Sun Yat-sen to awaken the Chinese nation and revitalize the motherland, but also arouse the nationals to struggle for building a rich and powerful unified motherland.
