Paper, one page. On May 27, 1912, Dr. Sun Yat-sen, who had resigned from the office of Provisional President, returned to Cuiheng Village to visit his family. On the following day, Sun attended a welcome meeting by local villagers at the ancestral temple in Nanlang Village, and gave a speech. This is one of the welcome messages at the welcome meeting. Dr. Sun Yat-sen took this piece out of Nanjing when resigning from the office of Provisional President, and handed it to his eldest brother Sun Mei in Macao for keeping. It was later kept by Sun Mei's grandson Sun Man, and donated to us in December 1982.
