Paper, printed copy, thread binding, one album. In 1911, Dr. Sun Yat-sen founded the America Fund Raising Bureau of the Chinese Revolutionary Army in San Francisco (externally known as the National Relief Bureau) to raise funds for the domestic revolution throughout the U.S. for over seven months. In 1912, the staff of the Fund Raising Bureau gathered all donation registers, and printed a number of records of Fund-Raising by the Revolutionary Arm of the National Relief Bureau in San Francisco. Dr. Sun Yat-sen took this piece out of Nanjing when resigning from the office of Provisional President, and handed it to his eldest brother Sun Mei in Macao for keeping. It was later kept by Sun Mei's grandson Sun Man, and donated to us in December 1982.
