A pastel bowl inscribed with “Celebration of the 70th Birthday of Lady Dowager Sun” made by Jianhua

Overall height: 5.8cm, diameter: 12.4cm, bottom diameter: 4.9cm
It is made entirely of white glaze, with a golden rim. The outer wall has a pastel pattern composed of pomegranates, peaches and Buddha hands, and the inscriptions of “Celebration of the 70th Birthday of Lady Dowager Sun” and “Longevity and Happiness”. On the 70th birth of Dr. Sun Yat-sen's first wife Lu Muzhen in July 1936, her son Sun Fo (also known as Jianhua) tailored the bowls and dishes to celebrate her birthday.
