Paper, one page. In 1892, Sun designed and supervised a two-storied building with three bays with the funds remitted by his eldest brother Sun Mei from Honolulu. This building was built by Changfu Firm in Xiashan Xiang near Cuiheng Village. This is the quotation for building materials issued by Changfu Firm. This quotation records the size, requirements, and required materials and men-hours of the Former Residence of Dr. Sun Yat-sen in detail, totaling 934.7 silver dollars. It bears the signature of the handler Xian Guang, and the seal of Changfu Firm in Xiashan Township appears at all amounts to prevent alteration. This piece was formerly kept by Dr. Sun Yat-sen's family and later by Dr. Sun Yat-sen's elder sister Sun Miaoqian, and donated to us by Sun Miaoqian's grandson Yang Lianfeng in September 1956.
Identified as a first grade national cultural relic by an expert team of the National Cultural Heritage Administration in April 1994
