Yang Heling (1868-1934), also known as Shinian or Lixia, was from Cuiheng Village, Xiangshan (today's Zhongshan), Guangdong, and born in Macao. In his early years, he had frequent contacts with Dr. Sun Yat-sen, and discussed state affairs and made revolutionary remarks with Dr. Sun Yat-sen, Chen Shaobai and You Lie in Hong Kong. They were called the “Four Bandits”. He joined the Revive China Society in 1895. He was called the “Four Heroes of Cuiheng Village” with Dr. Sun Yat-sen, Lu Haodong and Yang Xinru. InSeptember 1921, Dr. Sun Yat-sen appointed him as adviser to the Office of President. April 1923, Dr. Sun Yat-sen appointed him as Hong Kong and Macao Special Investigator of the Office ofGeneralissim..

Yang Xinru (1868-1946) was nicknamed Dijing, also known as Zhaorong, Zhengle or Xinru. He was from Cuiheng Village, Xiangshan (today's Zhongshan), Guangdong, and was one of the “Four Heroes of Cuiheng Village” along with Dr. Sun Yat-sen, Lu Haodong and Yang Heling. He was a loyal follower of Dr. Sun Yat-sen's revolutionary cause. He assisted Chen Shaobai in founding the Taiwan branch of the Revive China Society, managed society affairs, participated in the Guangzhou and Huizhou Uprisings, and raised funds in Zhongshan, Macao and Hong Kong..
