Notice on the opening of the Museum of Dr. Sun Yat-sen

1. Opening Hours

9:00-17:30 daily (last entry at 17:00). During public holidays in China around the year like the golden weeks, and the weekends between May to September, the opening hours will be 9:00 to 18:00 (last entry at 17:30).

2. Range of opening

Dr. Sun Yat-sen Memorial Exhibition Area, Cuiheng Folk House Exhibition Area, Farming Culture Exhibition Area, Intangible Cultural Heritage Exhibition Area, Yang Yin’s Former Residence Exhibition Area, the 1911 Revolution Memorial Park, and Cuiheng Village-a Famous Historical and Cultural Village of China.

3. Visitor control

To avoid crowd gathering and protect cultural relics environment, the instantaneous accepted visitors will be no more than 14,020 throughout the museum at any moment, and the overall daily accepted visitors will be no more than 70, 102. When visitor density approaches the maximum instantaneous or daily carrying capacity, measures such as "one in one out" will be taken accordingly to control the admission speed.

4. Entry Procedures

Visitors can enter the museum after security check. When the number of visitors in the museum reaches the peak flow limit, the museum will take measures to divert and limit it.

5. Management Regulations

(1) Please maintain personal hygiene during your visit. Smoking, spitting or littering are prohibited. Please follow the guidance of the staff.

(2) Visitors can follow our official WeChat account“The Museum of Dr. Sun Yat-sen” for mobile audio guides or scan QR codes on the spots within the museum for tour guide.

(3) Priority entry is given to elderly over 65 years old, infants (accompanied by up to two relatives), servicemen, disabled ex-servicemen, and disabled people.

Transportation Guide

(1) By Car: Use GPS navigation to search for “The Museum of Dr. Sun Yat-sen” for your drive.

(2) Public Transportation:

① Bus: Take 082, 215, 218, K26, or K28 buses, and get off at “Dr. Sun Yat-sen’s Former Residence (Yang Yin’s Former Residence)” bus stop.

② High-Speed Train: After arriving at Guangzhou South Station, Zhuhai Station, or Zhongshan Station, transfer to the light rail to Cuiheng Station or Nanlang Station. Then take a bus to “Dr. Sun Yat-sen’s Former Residence (Yang Yin’s Former Residence)” bus stop.

③ By plane: After arriving at Guangzhou Airport or Zhuhai Airport, take the light rail to Cuiheng Station or Nanlang Station, then a bus to “Dr. Sun Yat-sen’s Former Residence (Yang Yin Former Residence)” bus stop, and then arrive at the museum.

④ By Ferry: After arriving at Zhongshan Port by ferry, take a bus to “Dr. Sun Yat-sen’s Former Residence (Yang Yin’s Former Residence)” bus stop, and then arrive at the museum.
